Hardware company backs Nadi’s campaign

Nadi Football Association president Mohin Rafiq said this sponsorship from Majibhai Hardware is a blessing to the entire Nadi football family.

Nadi company Mahajibhai Hardware has thrown its support behind their district team leading up to the FMF Inter-District Championship 2024.

This was revealed during a cheque presentation of $7500 in Martintar, Nadi, yesterday, where company director Sudhish Patel said this is the first time for them to support their district team.

“I want support Nadi Football and its community especially since the boys were working hard and has improved their results,” he said.

“I hope they’ll go and win the tournament. Good luck to the Nadi team and I hope they can bring the trophy back this year.”

Nadi Football Association president Mohin Rafiq said this sponsorship from Majibhai Hardware is a blessing to the entire Nadi football family.

“It’s difficult times now for companies to come on board and sponsor with these figures,” he said.

Rafiq said the team would be known as Mahajibhai Hardware/Calgary Nadi since they have two major sponsors.

“I want to personally thank my head coach Raj Dayal and all the hardworking members in Calgary who are supporting Nadi and throughout the world as well. We are looking forward to this IDC and we are trying our best to do well in this tournament. “We have got a very good plan which we are working on.”

He added that the coaches and board of control are very supportive towards the team’s preparation. Nadi faces defending champions Ba in its first game next Tuesday at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
