“The last time we met (Samoa), costly mistakes cost us the game. We will have to bring our A game to still be in the hunt,” he added.

The Vodafone Fijiana XVs will look to continue their winning streak in the WXV3 when they take on Samoa in Dubai on Sunday morning (Fiji time).
Speaking during a Zoom session interview on Thursday night, head coach Mosese Rauluni said they would not take their Pacific rivals lightly and would go all out for the win.
“Samoa is a very good side,” the former Flying Fijians captain warned.
“We know they have a good set of forwards, which they will try and capitalise on the field.”
Rauluni said the team’s morale is high and are focused on the task at hand right from day one of the competition.
“The Samoan team lost their first game so they will be looking to get a taste of victory.
“They are a very good side and we will not take them lightly.”
The Fijiana XV side will look to match the powerful Samoan forward pack by having six forwards and two backs on the bench.
Rauluni said they have to be aggressive at breakdown and stick to the game plan.
“We have a few injuries in camp so it gives an opportunity to the named players to perform.
“At the moment, the heat is hard to adapt to but the girls are doing well in it,” he said.
He said the team has identified areas to improve on after their first game against Hong Kong, China, which they won 38-3.
First-five eight Jennifer Ravutia will pair up with halfback Evivi Senikaviri to lead the attack for the side against Samoa.
Fijiana XVs captain Karalaini Naisewa said the team would expect a physical battle come game day.
“We trust our players will go out and fight. We have met them before and we know what they are capable of,” she said.
Naisewa believes the team would have to up their game and work together to counter the opposition.
Rauluni said they have learned a lot from the previous test matches against Scotland and Netherlands and are building up well.
“The last time we met (Samoa), costly mistakes cost us the game. We will have to bring our A game to still be in the hunt,” he added.
The match kicks-off at 2am and shown live on Sky Pacific.
