THE National Men’s and Women’s Under-21 Hockey Teams are participating in a well-being session at the Solomon Islands National Institute of Sport (SINIS) in preparation for the Junior World Cup qualifiers in Auckland, New Zealand.
The qualifiers will run from January 29 to February 2.
The well-being sessions are led by Coordinator Coach Carlson Hagemana and his Assistant Diana Mafuara.
The primary goal of these sessions is to provide awareness for the hockey teams to help prepare them this upcoming competition.
Competing overseas requires energy, confidence, resilience and sound decision-making, which are essential qualities for athletes to represent the country in any event overseas.
