Three mobile towers now operational

Solomon Islands National Broadband Infrastructure Project (SINBIP) continues to make strong progress, with three new telecommunications sites successfully brought online.

The newly operational sites include M66-Muana and M67-O’omoro are located in the southern region of Isabel Province, as well as M87-Louna on Loun Island, Russell Islands in Central Province.

The launch of these sites marks a significant step forward in expanding reliable communication coverage to remote communities.

It will enhance internet access and digital connectivity, improving services in education, healthcare, commerce, and emergency response.

SINBIP project aims to build a robust, nationwide broadband network to support Solomon Islands’ long-term social and economic development.

With each new site that comes online, Solomon Islands moves closer to a more connected and digitally empowered future.
