Police are investigating the discovery of a body along the Narewa river in Nadi.
A statement said three people are being questioned at the Nadi Police Station in relation to this case.
The dead man is 25 years old.
The three are believed to have been with the victim prior to his death.
The victim was positively identified by his sister.
A post mortem examination will be conducted to confirm the cause of death.
