Nothing has changed for the Fiji men’s rugby sevens team as they play in this weekend’s Hong Kong Sevens. Head coach Osea Kolinisau reiterated that their aim is to win the 2024/25 HSBC SVNS Series.
“At the start of the season our aim was to win the series,” he said in Hong Kong on Wednesday.
“I told the boys we are building but I want us to win the series. That was our goal and it’s still our goal.
“We’ve a good opportunity to strike at these two tournaments (Singapore and Hong Kong). It means a lot to us.”
Kolinisau’s confident has been boosted with winger Jioji Nasova being the series leading try scorer with 16.
Meanwhile, Fijiana sevens head coach Richard Walker has encouraged his players to express themselves in this weekend’s tournament in Hong Kong as they chase for their first series title.
