Swanepoel Wins Natadola Open amateur title

South African national Stephen Swanepoel was crowned the amateur winner at the Coastal Rental Natadola Open Golf 2024.

This is after he won 76 on the five­hole with Melbourne-based Adish Kumar coming second.

Denarau Golf Club assistant manager Roneel Parkash won the professional category beating Sam Lee who is now based in South Ko­rea.

“Good feeling going back to Na­tadola Bay. Fiji Open next,” said Prakash.

Natadola Golf course manager Avinesh Datt said great weather was there for the Natadola Bay Golf Open 2024.

He thanked all sponsors for the great event and promised that it would be bigger and better next year.

“Also like to thank the ground staff for a great job done keeping the course in tip top condition. Also, all clubhouse golf opera­tions, pro-shop staff members for their hard work,” said Datt.

Men’s Overall Nett- Suruj Ma­haraj (69) Men’s A grade winner­Jack Butler (72), Men’s B- Grade Winner Ben Herter (71), Men’s- C Grade Winner Rajeev Patel (76), Ladies Gross Winner- Amy Subam (93) and Ladies Overall Nett Win­ner- Susie Yee (86).
