The BLK Nadroga rugby team takes on FMF Suva in next Saturday’s Skipper Cup grand-final.
The Stallions beat Naitasiri 21-17 in a hard fought semifinal at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori, today.
Nadroga took an early 12-0 lead from winger Jone Dukumoi’s two tries with Joeli Baleilevuka adding the extras from a conversion.
Naitasiri fought their way back with an unconverted try to tighthead prop Jone Naqiri.
A few minutes later Naitasiri scored their second try to Apisai Naqase after he was set-up by Wise Bower while Etoni Rokotuisawa kicking over the conversion as they were tied 12-12 at halftime.
Baleilevuka converted two penalties to push Nadroga ahead again 18-12.
Naitasiri scored their third try to Naqiri with the conversion going wide as they trailed 18-17.
Then it was Baleilevuka who slotted over the final penalty for the 21-17 win.
