The Social Democratic Liberal Party today confirmed Ratu Filimoni Soqeta as its new president.

He has been acting in the post.

Other executives elected today included two vice presidents’ –  Ratu Ramesio Qarau and Ratu Epeli Tuisese.

“They join our Party Leader, Hon. Aseri Radrodro, and Vice President, Ratu Jone Lesuma, to form a formidable team of young, visionary leaders who will steer the Party towards the 2025 Municipal Elections and the 2026 National General Elections,” said a SODELPA statement.

“Today’s meeting was a resounding success, with 316 dedicated members in attendance.”

“This overwhelming turnout is a clear and powerful message: the people want SODELPA to be the next government.”

“The energy, unity, and renewed sense of purpose displayed today show that the future is indeed bright for our Party.”
