Apia.  SAMOA – 03 July 2025 – The Samoa National Provident Funds (SNPF) contributors have been paid $45.5m in a 4% payout at the end of the 2024/2025 financial year.

This was announced this week by the Minister of Finance Lautimuia Uelese Vaai and the SNPF Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Lemalu Selesetina Reti.

Moreover, 2% have been paid directly to the contributors’ accounts as part of the final 6% or $67m dividend for the 2024/2025 financial year.

In February this year, 4% was paid out to contributors as part of 10% dividend approved by the Fund and the remaining 6% for this month.

The 10% dividend amounted to $112.1m, and $45.5m was paid out in February with another $45.5m paid out this week and $22.4m paid directly to contributors’ accounts.

The increase in payouts for contributors reflects the growing return in the Funds investments and also evident of the country’s stable economy as the payouts are injected into the local economy.

The $112.1m payout this financial year is the highest the fund as paid out so far compared to $73m in 2023 and $87.3m in 2024.
