“To the coaches, the ABF family, and everyone who supported me along the way—thank you. God bless.”
At 128kg, Semiti Loganimoce realised he was no longer just carrying weight—he was carrying the cost of putting himself last.”
The weight hadn’t come overnight.
It had crept up slowly, fed by long hours, daily stresses, skipped workouts, and quiet compromises. While staying fit had always been a goal, life—busy, unpredictable, and often overwhelming—had a way of pushing his health to the back burner.
“By midyear, I was at my heaviest. And I just couldn’t find the motivation to do anything about it,” Mr Loganimoce said.
Then came an unexpected nudge. When his workmates signed up for an eight-week fitness challenge, they casually added his name to the list.
He didn’t protest—but he didn’t take it too seriously either. He even skipped the usual starting measurements and photos, something he now wishes he’d done.
But showed up anyway. And that one decision—just showing up—changed everything.
Inside those classes, Mr Loganimoce found something he hadn’t expected: a safe space.
There was no pressure to impress, no judgment, just a group of people lifting each other up—literally and figuratively. Some were old friends whose quiet determination inspired him all over again.
By the third week Mr Loganimoce said he was actually looking forward to the sessions. That dread he used to feel gone and started enjoying it.
As his confidence grew, so did his curiosity. He began learning about training, diet, supplements, and recovery.
He invested in new workout gear, not just for the look—but because it made him feel committed. When he missed a class, he made up for it with cardio or weights on weekends. His routine began to change—and so did his body.
Mr Loganimoce cut back on sugar, limited simple carbs, drank more water, and added more protein and vegetables to his meals. He was chasing that lean, muscular look, he laughs—and was beginning to see it in the mirror.
Eight or nine weeks later, he lost 13kg, bringing his weight down to 115kg. But more importantly, he had gained muscle, energy, and a renewed sense of purpose.
“My face isn’t puffy anymore. I can run longer, I feel stronger—and I have so much more confidence now.”
The transformation, however, goes beyond the physical. It’s stirred something deeper in him—a calling to speak directly to men in his generation.
“To the boys my age this is your sign. We owe it to ourselves and the people we love—our wives, kids, siblings, parents—to show up as our best selves. Life is full of opportunities right now, and you need your health to enjoy them. You need strength to chase them.”
And he doesn’t stop there.
“You owe it to your family, your community—to inspire them, lead by example, and make them proud. But above all, you owe it to God—the One who ‘fearfully and wonderfully made you’—to live the full, abundant life He created you for.”
It’s a powerful message. And he’s not done.
“There’s more I want to share,” he says, “but I’ll save it for the next challenge.”
For now, he’s focused on moving forward—stronger, lighter, more motivated than ever—and grateful.
“To the coaches, the ABF family, and everyone who supported me along the way—thank you. God bless.”
And with that, Mr Loganimoce continues his journey. One rep, one step, one purpose-filled day at a time.
