The ANU School of Music will be opening up their vault of priceless instruments this week for their Historical Instruments Concert. Llewellyn Hall will fill on Wednesday with the sounds of works from Hyden, Elgar, Dussek and more performed on a range of historically significant instruments.
Thursday evening will see award-winning songwriter Alana Wilkinson heading to Smith’s Alternative. She’ll be playing songs from her reflective and hilarious new album Half Time Oranges.
Belconnen Arts Centre will continue its partnership with Smith’s Alternative on Saturday night with an appearance from the alternative folk outfit Frente Trio. Head down early to catch sets from locals Evan Buckley and Sophie Edwards.
