For the first time, the Rewa football team has made the OFC Champions League playoffs.
The Rodicks Singh-coached Rewa side beat FC Hekari United 3-2 in their final group match in Paea, Tahiti, this morning to qualify.
“This is our third Champions League tournament and we’re making it to the semifinal for the first time,” Singh said.
Dubbed the Delta Tigers, they have remained unbeaten after completing their group matches.
Rewa drew 2-2 with defending champions Auckland City FC in their group opener before beating Solomon Warriors 3-2 on Wednesday.
