South Pacific Boxing Promotions promoter Freddy Chand’s lawyer Roopesh Singh confirmed last night to SUNsports that they have filed for a judicial review.
“We are waiting for the application to be issued, and we are challenging the decision that was made (by the Boxing Commission of Fiji) to suspend our client’s boxing license,” he said.
“We are seeking a declaration that it was unlawful, unfair and unreasonable. The decision was made inconsistent with the relevant laws and Constitution of Fiji.”
