A police officer facing nine sexual offence charges had his trial fixed to commence in May next year.
The 40-year-old man, who is married and has three children, appeared before Suva Judge Justice Dane Tuiqereqere yesterday.
The accused, who was sent on leave pending court proceedings, allegedly committed the offences against his cousin who was only 13 at the time.
The trial is scheduled to commence from May 12 to 16 next year.
Justice Tuiqereqere adjourned the case to March 4 next year.
