Apia, Samoa – 6 June 2025 – Two young men are in policer custody after they were arrested when caught selling drugs (methamphetamine) outside the courthouse at Mulinu’u.

Witnesses said the men were seen early in morning at the back of the court house where they parked their car.

They then bought coffee from a nearby stall, returned to their car and sat inside as if waiting for someone.

Witnesses said it was not until after people started arriving at the courthouse that the young men left their car and hung around the entrance to the courthouse.

A police inspector told Talamua that police had intel on the men and have been monitoring their daily routine until they finally caught them in action yesterday.

The media who were there to cover the court’s decision on the election date, witnessed the arrest and the two men escorted to the police car.

Police also searched the men’s car that also contained drugs and other illegal items.
