Playmaker returns as Fijiana 7s back to full strength

The Fijians are in Pool C with France, Great Britain and Japan. The Vancouver Sevens will be from February 22-24 at the BC Place.

Veteran playmaker Reapi Ulunisau is back to boost the Fiji Airways Fijiana sevens team to next weekend’s Vancouver Sevens in Canada.

Interim head coach Timoci Volavola is going to use Ulunisau and Lavena Cavuru’s combination to set up their moves while Sesenieli Donu’s inclusion is to strengthen the forwards.

The three players were members of the Team Fiji women’s sevens team that won the bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in Japan.

Fijiana 7s squad to Vancouver: Lavena Cavuru, Sesenieli Donu, Rogosau Adimereani, Sera Bolatini, Ilisapeci Delaiwau, Livia Nadei, Vika Nakacia, Adita Milinia, Silika Qalo, Reapi Ulunisau, Mereula Torooti, Mere Vocevoce.

Dropped (from Perth 7s): Verenaisi Ditavutu, Loata Nabulagi, Kelerayani Luvu.
