White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has rejected a claim from an upcoming book that President Biden’s staff treat him “like a toddler.”

“President Biden is the oldest president in US history. Why does White House staff treat him like a baby?” Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked during the White House press briefing.

“No one treats the president of the United States, the commander in chief, like a baby. That’s ridiculous. It’s a ridiculous claim,” Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre responded.

The Fox News reporter was referring to a claim made in a new book by The Atlantic’s Franklin Foer that said Joe Biden had fumed over his staff treating him like a ‘toddler’.
