Four males have been arrested after a serious assault on a council worker on Guppy Road.
The accused, aged between 18 and 22, have been charged with aggravated robbery and wilful damage.
Police said the victim was “seriously injured” in the Taradale assault on January 30, but is expected to make a full recovery.
An 18-year-old is due to reappear in the Napier District Court on 27 February. The remaining three are due to appear in the Napier District Court on Thursday.
Police confirmed they are not seeking anybody else in relation to the incident.
