Nadroga is the Skipper Cup Under-20 champions after beating Naitasiri 43-36 in the final at Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park today.
Nadroga U20 team manager Manueli Fumanu said the win made possible through divine intervention.
“We came in knowing that it was not going to be an easy game against Naitasiri as we were going to play them on their home ground,” he said.
“We trusted the boys to play their game and I believe that it was speed and teamwork that enabled us to win.”
