Old hands in the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua backline are expected to be the force to reckon with as it takes on the Western Force in the Shop N Save Super Rugby Clash at Churchill Park in Lautoka this weekend.

Hard hitting centre Iosefo Masi and Inia Tabuavou, Tuidraki Samusamuvodre and hooker Tevita Ikavere are expected to be on the run on side after being cleared of their injuries.

Masi was sanctioned by the club for personal issues but has been cleared by the club.

“Our sort of back division, Iosefo Masi is back and available, he’s back for selection,” he said.

“Tuidraki’s is back as well. Inia has got a slight concussion, so hopefully he’s cleared for the weekend, and we’ll see how we go.”

“Tevita is a good opportunity to start again. So, we’ve got some guys that have been playing well for us who have missed quite a big part of the last sort of few weeks in the campaign. So hopefully they’re all back and get on the rugby field.

Hooker Zuriel Togiatama suffered a shoulder injury in the 34-5 loss to the Blues at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva last week.

“We had a couple of small injuries, Zuriel took a bit of a shoulder knock,” he said.

“There are quite a few bumps and bruises, so it’s going to take a little bit of time to make sure everyone’s over that, and we’ll select a team,” he said.
