“It is a dream come true so it is crazy, obviously very happy, to see my name,” he said.

Swire Shipping Fijian Drua’s first five-eight Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula is relishing his journey with the FIJI Water Flying Fijians for the northern hemisphere tour as a ‘little kid in a candy shop’.

The 20-year-old is the Drua’s top point scorer this season. He is now part of the 33-member squad for the June/July International Test Series.

Armstrong-Ravula is likely to feature in the match against the Barbarians at Twickenham, England on June 22, a great opportunity to play in one of the greatest stadiums in the world.

He said he was over the moon when his name was announced last week.

“It is a dream come true so it is crazy, obviously very happy, to see my name,” he said.

“My parents called to say that they were proud of me. Then it sank, I was overwhelmed“

“I try to play Super Rugby every week and whatever, it came for a reason,” Armstrong-Ravula said.

“I will just learn as much as I can and from coach Mick, and Aaron Mauger. I will be a sponge, soaking everything up. It will be crazy as I have never been to the northern hemisphere before. I will feel like a little kid in a candy shop.”

His younger brother Moses Armstrong-Ravula is currently with the Fiji Under 20 side preparing for the World Under 20 Championship to be held in South Africa.
