A new winner will be crowned in tomorrow’s BiC Fiji FACT final at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
This was after defending champions Paradise Seafood Suppliers Lautoka went down, 1-0, to Extra Supermarket Labasa in the first semifinal.
Captain and goalkeeper Simione Tamanisau acknowledged the team for a great comeback following their loss to Nadroga last week.
He said it was all through commitment and teamwork.
“We had to go back, bring us back to earth since we were flying after being undefeated in the Extra Premier League,” he said.
“Playing against Lautoka, everybody knows that they are champions and they play well today.
“Like I said, credit to the boys, they stuck to the game plan from the final whistle until the last.”
Goal scorer and striker Christopher Wasasala was red carded and Tamanisau said they can’t keep losing players due to indiscipline.
“We need to control our temper,” he said.
“We can’t afford to be losing a man, especially in these stages. We will go back to the drawing board and we work on those come back tomorrow.”
Tamanisau thanked the 12th man on the stands for their support.
