The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua is on the right track in their preparation of their Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific opener against the ACT Brumbies in Suva on February 15.
The nippy Drua halfback Simione Kuruvoli said: “We’re on the right direction.
“The boys have been prepping well since we have like four days of training left to sharpen what’s left to be sharpened.”
Kuruvoli said to compete for the No.9 spot against co-captain Frank Lomani, Peni Matawalu and Philip Baselala has only brought the best out of them.
“It’s quite good having competition around as it boosts our preparations especially competing against the best halfbacks.”
Kuruvoli acknowledged the coaches led Glen Jackson for giving their time to the players during train and improving their skills for the new Super Rugby season.
“Fiji fans are known as the world’s best fans and I urge them to come out in numbers,” he said.
“Make sure to buy your tickets, it’ll be worth it come Saturday, February 15.”
The match kicks-off at 3.35pm.
