Honiara Netball Association (HNA) has successfully held its 2025 season award ceremony more than a week ago on Friday night 17th October at the King Solomon Hotel in Honiara where the winners of the competition was awarded for their hard work and effort throughout the season.
HNA held the award ceremony to recognize the outstanding achievement of its players and teams.
The event has brought together netball teams, clubs, players, family members, supporters and sponsors representatives witnessing the outstanding achievements they have.
The winners of the four different divisions have been awarded on Friday not only to thanked them for the hardwork and effort but to celebrate their achievements.
In the Super Division, Sunrise netball club walk away with a cash prize of $24,000 and a trophy, leaving the Phoenix netball club with a cash prize of $20,000, Suvania 1 settles for the third place with cash prize of $16,000 while Southerns 1 walk away with $12,000 on the fourth place.
In Division A, Green Berets 1 walked away with the trophy and a cash prize of $20,000, Owaraha 1 on the second place with a cash prize of $16,000, Hale settles on the third place with $12,000 and Skaelaen walked away with $10,000 on the fourth place.
In Division B, Suvania 1 is the crowned champions and walked away with the trophy and a cash prize of $16,000, Goldridge 2 settles on the second place with a cash prize of $12,000, Kolei with $10,000 cash on the third place while Southerns 4 with $8,000 on the fourth place.
In Division C, Kolei walked away with a cash prize of $16,000 and a trophy on the first place, Southern 4 secured $12,000 cash on the second place, Goldridge 3 with $10,000 cash in the third place while Tehila, with $8,000 cash on the fourth place.
These are the awards presented to the overall champions of the four Divisions in the Honiara Netball Association 2025 season. Individual awards were also given but Star Sport is unable to get the record.

Meanwhile, speaking during the award ceremony, the key guest Honorable Cathy Nori congratulated all the teams, players and officials for the effort and sacrifices put into the league until its completion.
“A special congratulations to the winning teams and individual award winners for your efforts to secure the awards. I know you have put in a lot of work and commitment to enable you to achieve prizes/awards,” Hon. Nori said.
“May I also applaud Honiara Netball Association and the organizing committee for organizing this league and the sponsors for recognizing the need to support our young girls and women to participate in such a competitive environment”, she said.
HNA President Jennifer Tema Lakoa, in her remarks during the award night she said that this year’s netball season marks a historical milestone for the Honiara Netball Association, securing the highest sponsorship ever-$213,000, enabling HNA to award $250,000 in prizes this year.
President Lakoa further thanked the sponsors for their unwavering support to HNA over the past years till today, and looking forward for the same support in the next season.
