The finalists for the 2025 Advance Technologies High School Basketball Competition have been confirmed following a series of intense semi-final clashes on Sunday.
In the boys’ division, defending champions Honiara Senior High School booked their place in the grand final with a 35-29 win over a determined White River Community High School side in the opening semi-final.
Honiara High will face a red-hot Saint Nicholas College Sentinels team, who narrowly edged out the Betikama Adventist College Hills in a tightly contested match.
In the girls’ division, Betikama Adventist College battled past Saint Nicholas College in overtime to earn their spot in the final and move a step closer to the title.
Meanwhile, White River CHS girls, fresh off their gold medal performance in the SISSG25 3×3 basketball — continued their fine form by edging Saint Joseph’s Tenaru 22-20 in a thrilling encounter.
The grand final showdown is scheduled for Sunday, July 13, at the Friendship Hall and promises to be a fitting end to what is a competitive tournament.
