Flying Fijian stars join top Premiership clubs

Former Fiji-born France centre Virimi Vakatawa has been released by the Bears and is yet to register for a club.

Flying Fijians captain Waisea Nayacalevu and veteran No.8 Viliame Mata will be playing in the Gallagher Premiership next season.

Nayacalevu was released from Toulon to join Sale Sharks while Edinburgh centurion Mata has joined Bristol Bears.

Former Fiji-born France centre Virimi Vakatawa has been released by the Bears and is yet to register for a club.

Flying Fijian hooker Sam Matavesi after a successful season with Northampton Saints in winning the Premiership is joining French club Lyon while his younger brother Joel is also released from the Saints.

Centre George Wacokecoke and Vereimi Qorowale have been released by Newcastle Falcons. Wacokecoke has joined Doncaster Knights while Qorowale is still working on his next move.
