Finding Rauluni’s Replacement Starts

“This is a joint funded post so a resignation from the national team means a resignation from the Drua role,” Evans said.

The process to appoint a Vodafone Fijiana XV and Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua women’s rugby head coach has already begun.

This was confirmed by Fijian Drua chief executive officer Mark Evans.

This was after head coach Mosese Rauluni resigned after the Fijiana XV’s recent poor showing at the WXV3 in Dubai, where they lost to Samoa and Spain.

“This is a joint funded post so a resignation from the national team means a resignation from the Drua role,” Evans said.

He said they are working with FRU to find a replacement. In an earlier interview former Fijiana XV head coach Senirusi Seruvakula has no interest for the job while Inoke Male is yet to decide on it.

It is likely that Rauluni’s assistant coach Kele Leawere could be considered since he has been working with the players.
