A national sevens rep was arrested for alleged drink driving at the Nadi Temple checkpoint on Saturday night.
Kavekini Tanivanuakula was charged and released.
This was confirmed by Police spokesperson Wame Bautolu.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Nadi Magistrate’s Court on February 17, 2025 for the first call.
Tanivanuakula debuted for Fiji at the Dubai 7s earlier this month where they won their first SVNS title after 25 HSBC tournaments.
