FIFA legend Luke Wilkshire will be the chief guest at this year’s Extra Supermarket Fiji Football Association’s Awards Night at Crown Plaza Hotel on December 1.
Wilkshire, who plays at right back represented Australia to 80 international games. He also played for Middlesbrough in the English Premier League and also Bristol City. Wilkshire also played for Dutch professional club Feyenoord.
This was confirmed to SUNsports yesterday by Fiji FA chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf.
The Fiji FA Awards Night is making a highly anticipated return after a three-year lapse. There will be 14 prestigious awards up for grabs, supported by new sponsor Extra Supermarket. The partnership promises to make this year’s event bigger and better.
The awards include;
Footballer of the Year Male, Footballer of the Year Female, Young Footballer of the Year Male, Young Footballer of the Year Female, Futsal Player of the Year (Male/Female), Team of the Year, Administrator of the Year, Coach of the Year, Referee of the Year, Elite Player of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, and Employee of the Year.
