Eight national men’s sevens extended squad members have been selected to feature for the Mike Friday Select Sevens team at the McDonald’s Fiji Coral coast 7s tournament next week.
They were nominated by head coach Osea Kolinisau.
The eight Fiji men’s seven players included includes Viliame Naikausa, Rubeni Kabu, Suliano Volivoli, Jope Tikomailepanoni, Iliavi Masori, Sakiusa Siqila, Rauto Vakadranu and Alipate Biu.
They will join Jerry Tuwai, former Ireland captain Harry McNulty, USA’s Matai Leuta and Rosko Specman.
Speaking to SUNsports yesterday, tournament organising committee chairman Jay Whyte said the Mike Friday Select 7s team is a new addition to the tournament.
“Luke Treharne from Wales and Alexandre Odinga from France will also be part of Friday’s team so it’s really a world class event in Fiji.”

The three-day Coral Coast 7s will be held from January 16-18 at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka.
