Derenalagi: Do or die for Drua

It is a do-or-die match for the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua when they face the Melbourne Rebels today at Churchill Park, Lautoka.

It is a do-or-die match for the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua when they face the Melbourne Rebels today at Churchill Park, Lautoka.

These were the words of Drua captain, Meli Derenalagi during the Captain’s run in Nadi yesterday.

He said talks had been going on in the camp this week that Rebels would try to make today’s game a memorable one.

 

Derenalagi said despite that their aim is to reach the quarterfinal for the second time.

“That’s our target and we will give out best in this game.

“Training this week, the boys are hungry for a win against the Rebels.

 

They are giving their best.

“As a team we know this is a do-or-die match,” he reiterated.

The Drua is placed eighth on the Shop N Save Super Rugby points standings and only need a win to cement their quarterfinal spot.

The match kicks-off at 2.05pm.
