Magistrate Yogesh Prasad has allowed a 58-year-old Methodist Church minister’s lawyer Vukicanavanua Rokodreu 28 days to advice his client on the issue of a plea, which will be recorded on November 6.

Kolinio Bulivakarua, a church minister from Ba has had his bail also extended.

Mr Bulivakarua, who allegedly unlawfully withdrew $7638.68 from the mataqali Walakewa TLTB trust account, appeared before Magistrate Prasad last month.

The incident allegedly happened when he held the post of divisional superintendent of Bukuya, Ba, between January 1 and May 31 four years ago.

The police prosecution filed and served the second phase disclosures, which Bulivakarua’s lawyer, Rokodreu, also confirmed receiving.
