A PUBLIC appeal has been launched to support the Real North Beach Soccer League in North Malaita.

In a statement, the Real North Beach Soccer Committee is reaching out to seek support from friends, supporters and wantoks for their kind assistance in supporting the league. 

The league consists of teams from Malu’u and surrounding areas, the statement said.

The primary goal of the league is to select a squad that will represent the Northern region of Malaita in the upcoming Telekom National Beach Soccer Tournament in Honiara. 

Real North Beach Soccer team has always been a strong contender in past tournaments, with few of the boys got selected for the National team. 

“We are confident that this year will be no exception and with your support, we can achieve even greater success for our boys,” the statement said. 

Coach Esau David, a national rep who proudly represent the region is currently in Honiara seeking urgent assistance to help purchase prizes and obtain other necessary resources for the league.

“Any contribution you can make, no matter how big or small, will go a long way in ensuring our boys have everything they need to compete and succeed. 

“Together, we can help provide the best for these young athletes and continue to build a proud legacy for Real North Beach Soccer. 

“Thank you everyone,” the committee said in a statement.
