US heavy metal heavyweights Machine Head are currently out and about playing a string of Good Times sideshows. They’ll be stopping in at UC Refectory on Wednesday night.

Saturday night will see Dissent playing host to Punkmas, a holiday celebration of local punk rock. Head to the Garema Place dive to catch sets from Matriarch, Nonbinarycode, and The Leftards.

Of the 20 entrants into the Department of Rock band competition, only one can be crowned the winner. The final four are set to perform as part of the Grand Final at Smith’s Alternative on Sunday night.
