The Fourth (IV) Grereo Festival commences this morning – Thursday 25th September at the Honiara City Council (HCC) Youth Hub.

The three days festival officially commenced with a short parade from the Lawson Tama to the Youth Hub stage where the official opening happened.

The opening also featured speeches from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism rep and Grereo Events Manager Audrey Titili.

Ms Titili in her remarks highlighted the importance of this festival and acknowledged all the participating groups for taking time out to showcase their cultures.

The fest then continued with cultural performances from different wards of Isabel province.

People of Isabel and the public are invited to witness the cultural event.

The program will end on Saturday.
