The Pacific Resilience Facility (PRF) treaty was finally signed this evening – Wednesday 10th September in Honiara.
About 15 Forum Leaders signed the deal.
The signing marks a milestone towards establishing the Forum’s first financial legal institution.
This Pacific-led fund is dedicated to strengthening community resilience after years of climate-finance struggles.
To ensure the treaty to come into force, the PRF requires eight instruments of ratification.
