LTA Clarifies Parking Ticket

LTA Clarifies Parking Ticket

Apia, Samoa – 09 July 2025 – The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has clarified that the ticket questioned by a motorist in a Talamua story yesterday, rightly belongs to LTA.

As the ticket showed, it was for parking in town on the time, date and amount paid as shown on the ticket.

It has nothing to do with the $10 tala ticket the motorist he paid at the Fagalii Airport which is under the Samoa Airport Authority.

Editors Note
We contacted the motorist, and we explained LTA’s clarification. He is now convinced, the ticket he complained about and showed us, was the wrong one. It is obvious he lost the ticket he paid at the Fagalii Airport yesterday morning. The LTA ticket he complained about was paid by someone of his family who parked the car and paid $1.00 at Post Office Road parking meter on Monday 7 July at 12.09pm.

We acknowledge LTA for the clarification and puts this matter to rest.
