The eight quarter-finalists for the 2025 Solomon Islands Secondary School Games (SISSG25) netball competition have been confirmed, with matches set to take place this afternoon, Wednesday at the Friendship Hall, East Honiara.
Following three intense days of group stage action, the top eight schools are now ready to battle for a spot in the semi-finals.
The first quarter-final of the day will feature Bishop Epalle Catholic School facing off against Selwyn College.
That will be followed by Koloale CHS taking on King George VI School in what promises to be a thrilling encounter.
Later in the afternoon, tournament favourites Waimapuru NSS will clash with White River CHS at 4pm, while Su’u Secondary School will meet Saint Joseph’s Tenaru in the final quarterfinal.
The semi-finals and medal matches are scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday, July 3), marking the final day of the netball competition.
In a surprising turn of events, defending gold medalists Panatina have failed to progress past the group stage and will not feature in this year’s knockout rounds.
