Apia, Samoa – 27 June 2025 – The annual Teuila Tourism Festival for 2025 has been cancelled. A notice from the Samoa Tourism Authority says the festival is cancelled due to the general elections on 29 August which is the week the festival was to begin.
The festival usually ends with the Miss Samoa Pageant to select a national beauty who represents Samoa in the Miss Pacific Pageant and it is not known if this competition will be held later in the year.
