“Vehicles are filing slowly through the Great North Rd intersection where the accident happened.”
A Hato Hone St John spokesman said an ambulance and a rapid response vehicle were called to the scene about 8.20pm.
“Two people suffered minor injuries and did not require transportation.”
Auckland Transport issued a traffic alert saying, “There is an emergency service incident blocking the intersection with Great North Rd in Avondale”.

The accident disrupted bus route 195 on Blockhouse Bay Rd.
