Sportsworld Fiji Under-20 captain Iliesa Erenavula is ready to lead their campaign against Tonga in today’s Oceania Challenge at Prince Charles Park, Nadi.
The Nawamagi, Nadroga native, knows the importance of the tournament where they face Tonga, Samoa and Canada.
“We are playing in Fiji, so every game is an important game,” he said.
“Starting from our first game until our last, we are going to treat it seriously. All the games are equal. We are looking forward to the game and will work hard.”
He expects the Tongan side to bring a lot of physicality in their game.
“The coaches have trained us to withstand it and try to stand our ground. We have to work for it.”
At 2pm Samoa U20 takes on Canada followed by the Fiji, Tonga showdown at 4pm.
