The Fiji Rugby Union yesterday announced the SportsWorld Fiji Under-20 squad for the upcoming Oceania Rugby U20s Challenge.
The tournament gets underway on May 28 at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
Fiji U20 head coach Senirusi Seruvakula has named a strong and talented 28-man squad, with 15 players returning from the Super Rugby U20 Championship earlier this year in New Zealand. The Fiji U20 team enters the tournament as defending champions and will look to retain their title against Tonga, Canada, and Samoa.
Seruvakula expressed confidence in the team’s preparation and potential.
“This squad blends experience with exciting new talent,” he said.
“We’ve had solid preparations and are focused on delivering strong performances on home soil.”
The U20s programme plays a vital role in Fiji Rugby’s player development and high-performance strategy. With many players transitioning into elite national squads, establishing strong foundations and high standards at this level is essential for long-term success.
