The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua side will not give in to be swayed by the tactics put up by the Western Force.

Head coach Glen Jackson said they would want to maintain their winning run at Churchill Park.

The Drua will host the Force in Round 13 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific in Lautoka on Saturday.

“It’s great to have a full week here in Nadi and then head to Lautoka in the morning. We’re 9 out of 10 in Lautoka. It’s an important place for us, and we’d like to keep that winning record up.

“But we certainly must go with the mentality to win the game, before it’s a very good line-out. Extremely well-disciplined, well played.

“So, it’s going to be a good scrap in a nice place to get a win.”

The Western Force side arrived on Monday night without the season’s leading try scorer Carlo Tizzano.

“If we look at the season, there are two games that stand out that we didn’t play the way we’d like to play.

“One of them was in Perth, so they’re fighting for every point, as we are,” Jackson said.

“Coming from Perth’s a long way, they’ve decided to come early. They’ve got a tough place to come from and are just trying to get that balance right on timing.”

Jackson indicated the Force are looking forward to be in the country the whole week before they return to Perth for their remaining matches of the season.

“Well, it’s funny. It’s great to be home.

“And I say home, I know we’ve played in Suva, but we’ve been three nights in total in our beds before our game,” said Jackson.
