More Fijians Play Super Rugby

Blues coach Vern Cotter has retained Hoskins Sotutu at No.8.

About 38 players of Fijian descent will be playing for their respective clubs in this weekend’s Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific competition.

Apart from the 23-member Swire Shipping Fijian Drua squad, the remaining 15 players will be playing for the other clubs. Drua’s opponent NSW Waratahs have named Langi Gleeson on the bench.

Tonight, the Crusaders line-up consists of halfback Noah Hotham, Levi Aumua, Chay Fihaki and winger Sevu Reece who is two tries away from being Super Rugby’s top try scorer of all time. Prop George Bower has been named on the bench while Blues coach Vern Cotter has retained Hoskins Sotutu at No.8.

ACT Brumbies with powerhouse loosie Rob Valetini at No.6 travels to Pukehoe to face Moana Pasifika. Chiefs with Emoni Narawa on the wing are hosting Highlanders who have got Veveni Lasaqa, Jona Nareki, co-captain, Timoci Tavatavanawai and Jacob Ratumaitavuki- Kneepkens in the starting line-up while hooker Soane Vikena comes off the bench.

The much improved Isaia Walker-Leawere will be at lock for the Hurricanes as they travel to Perth to face Western Force.
