Former Hurricanes and All Blacks Sevens utility back Salesi Rayasi is part of the 80-member Fiji Water Flying Fijians squad.
This was confirmed by Flying Fijians head coach Mick Byrne.
However, he did not meet with the Vannes winger during his visit to the Northern Hemisphere last month because of time constraints. Rayasi was in Paris which was another five-hour drive.
“He is part of the extended squad,” Byrne said.

The 28-year-old signed two years with the Top 14 club following his four Super Rugby Pacific season with Hurricanes.
Rayasi has played 20 matches so far with Vannes and scored four tries.
Byrne confirmed that the 80 players he mentioned include both players in Europe and the Fijian Drua.
