Exciting finals is expected today from the 14 schools of Suva Zone Two.
These events include the 800 metres, 200m, 4xl00m and 4x400m relays. Fiji Secondary Schools Athletics (FSSA) vice- president Central Savenaca Muamua said, the two-day competition was to give athletes enough time to rest between their events.
“We are really glad that we’re allowed to have two full days of competition. It’s good for the athletes,” he said.
“It is also the 50th year of Fiji Secondary Schools athletics and the first time for live coverage so that is a hype. That adds more pressure to the athletes.
