2023 Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year lifters Taniela Rainibogi and Miriama Taletawa.
The 2024 Fiji Sports Awards will be held on March 22 at the Vodafone Arena in Suva.
This was confirmed yesterday by Fiji National Sports Commission (FNSC) executive chairman Peter Mazey. Mazey said the categories are all the same including Coach of the Year, Administration of the Year and Technical Official of the Year.
It should be sent in by January 31 for judging to commence.
“We’re encouraging everybody to send their nominations,” he said.
“Tickets will go on sale early February and it will be online. This is a good one because it was the year of the Olympics,” Mazey added.
Other categories are Sports Photograph of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Sports Team of the Year, Sports Organisation of the Year, Young Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year and the Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year.
Lifters Taniela Rainibogi and Miriama Taletawa won the 2023 Sportsman and Sportswoman of the year respectively.
