Seattle Barbarians winger, Mosese Naura, is seeking an opportunity to pursue a professional career in either sevens or fifteens rugby.
“I’m grateful for the advice that my team-mate Semi Kunatani usually gives me when I’m about to play,” he said.
“He (Kunatani) usually tells me to be confident and keep moving forward.”
Naura said he would focus on improving his game until the opportunity arises.
“Everything is in God’s time and I will go for either sevens or fifteens so whichever comes first,” he told SUNsports yesterday.
“I will be playing in the Labasa Sevens tournament after the Coral Coast Sevens.”
Naura said he would continue to play for Nadi in the Skipper Cup competition.
“I will have to improve my running lines and defence to become a better player.
“I faced a few challenges like having no bus fare to go for training, lack of sleep time and having to skip meals.”
Naura remains optimistic in his rugby journey despite his daily struggles.
“I played a little bit of rugby league as well.
“I want to thank my parents back home who have been supportive of my rugby journey.”
