“The longer format of the game is easier as the forwards commit more but sevens rugby requires more fitness and less players on the field,” she said.

Ana Lutunauca dedicated their two wins to their players despite some sustained injuries during the tournament.
The Nasinu Amazon 7s captain knows the capability of the team despite injuries.
“Our target is to win the women’s category in this tournament.
“We will have to improve our defense, minimise our missed tackles and high tackles as well,” she said.
Lutunauca revealed she plays in the halfback and flyhalf position in the XV’s side of the game.
“The longer format of the game is easier as the forwards commit more but sevens rugby requires more fitness and less players on the field,” she said.
She has also labelled the captaincy role as no-easy job.
“It’s not easy to be captain because it’s my job to tell the players to work together and help each other out on the field.”
Lutunauca said the players have created a strong bond in the team despite being from various provinces.
“Our players are strong and talented with their own individual skillset on the field,” she said.
“I want to thank our coach Tomasi Katonivualiku for supporting this team.”
Lutunauca said they hope to win the tournament, and they are dedicating it to their coach.
